3-star wide receiver DeJay Welch commits to Mississippi Valley State
Three-star wide receiver Dequadrion Welch announced his commitment to Mississippi Valley State on Friday.
The 5-foot-10, 165-pound wide receiver is from Noxubee County High School in Macon, Mississippi.
Welch is the No. 69 player in Mississippi and No. 274 wide receiver in the class of 2024, according to 247Sports.
The 2024 prospect is having a breakout senior season for the Tigers. In only seven games, Welch has recorded 45 receptions for 776 receiving yards and nine touchdowns. He is currently averaging over 110 yards per game.
As a junior, Welch finished the season with 35 receptions for 586 receiving yards and four touchdowns.
