GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- When Billy Napier on Monday stated his goal for Florida to "sustain some of this momentum" it created in its demolition of No. 11 Tennessee in Week 3, he likely was not only referring to the Gators' on-field efforts.

UF's head coach was also almost certainly alluding to Florida's endeavors on the recruiting trail, which most recently netted the team a commitment from Tampa (Fla.) Plant class of 2025 running back Waltez Clark in the wake of the victory.

With 21 members of its 2024 class, Florida's positional needs have mostly been addressed up to this point. But Napier, his coaching staff, and even quarterback commitment DJ Lagway are continuing to pursue a select few prospects — some still available and others committed elsewhere — before turning their full attention to recruiting the 2025 cycle.

Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy offensive lineman Jordan Seaton stands atop the list of targets, and Lagway let the blocker know his desire to team up in orange and blue at the next level on Monday evening.

"Ayy what it’s going to take to get you in the swamp?? @JordanSeaton_ Me and the fans are curious," Lagway posted to X, the social media app formerly called Twitter.

Seaton, reportedly, will next be inside Ben Hill Griffin Stadium to officially visit the Gators' for their homecoming game against Vanderbilt on Oct. 7, according to  247Sports. The trip will mark Seaton's second to Gainesville following an unofficial visit in May.

Similar to the upcoming visit, the social media exchange with Lagway about Florida was not Seaton's first.

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, the 6-foot-5, 287-pound Seaton is the No. 1 interior offensive lineman and No. 39 overall prospect in the class of 2024. He has received scholarship offers from over 30 schools, with 11 of the soon-to-be 16 SEC programs in the mix for his services.

As for Lagway, Florida's prized signal-caller commitment has solidified his standing as one of the best at his position in the country to begin his senior season at Willis (Texas) High. He has completed 80-of-109 (73.4%) of his passes with 1,257 yards, 17 touchdowns and three interceptions through four games, adding 207 yards and four scores on the ground.
