Standing at 6-foot-4, 240 pounds, Davis is slated to assume an edge rusher role at the collegiate level, where he can maximize the size, power and speed in pursuit demonstrated consistently throughout his sophomore tape.
However, he’s showcased the fortitude to align at any spot on the defensive line for Grimsley, creating mismatches with the mixture of burst and physicality he presents.
As a sophomore, Davis proved uber-productive in the versatile role, compiling 92 tackles, 22 tackles for loss, 28 quarterback hurries and 12 sacks. As a result, he earned 16 of his 25 scholarship offers since October 2022.
Florida joined the recruitment party on May 10 and hosted Davis in Gainesville for an unofficial visit on June 22.

The Gators tapped into the Carolinas for defensive line talent in the 2024 class, securing Clinton High School product Amaris Williams to command the newly constructed ‘F’ end role. Area recruiter Jay Bateman will look to strike gold once again by luring Davis to Gainesville over the next year.
