Florida is in the top 11 for nationally-coveted class of 2024 Lilburn (Ga.) Parkview cornerback Jalyn Crawford, according to Hayes Fawcett of On3 Sports.

The Gators are joined by LSU, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Clemson, North Carolina, South Carolina, Auburn, Louisville, Miami and Georgia Tech in Crawford's crop of contenders, a list trimmed down from his 33 scholarship offers.

Florida entered the mix for Crawford by presenting an offer on Apr. 8, during his first unofficial trip to the university. He plans to return to Gainesville for an official visit on June 2, per On3 Sports.

Crawford has also reportedly scheduled official visits with Auburn (June 9) and LSU (June 16).

Crawford, 6-foot, 180 pounds, is considered the No. 14 cornerback and No. 130 overall prospect in the class of 2024, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. He was credited with 29 tackles, three interceptions and at least six pass breakups as a junior in 2022, per 247Sports and MaxPreps.

Florida welcomed six defensive backs in the recruiting class of 2023 — cornerbacks Ja'Keem Jackson, Dijon Johnson and Aaron Gates, nickel corner Sharif Denson, and safeties Jordan Castell and Bryce Thornton — but that hasn't stopped secondary coach Corey Raymond from attempting to stock the backend of the Gators' defense up with talent for years to come via the 2024 cycle.

Two of Florida's seven class of 2024 pledges entering the summer hail from the safety position: McKinney (Texas) High's Xavier Filsaime and Nashville (Ga.) Berrien's Josiah Davis
