The trip to Gainesville will mark Denson's third of the year, following an unofficial visit in April and an official visit in June. Denson also attended Florida's matchup against Georgia in Jacksonville, Fla., in Week 9.
Denson has formed a close bond with Gators secondary coach Corey Raymond since earning a scholarship offer from UF in April. Despite Denson's pledge to the Spartans, Raymond has remained a presence in his recruitment in recent months as Florida has continued to press for defensive back talent in the class of 2024.
"I learned so much, so so much. My little time with him, my meetings with him, it was amazing," Denson told All Gators about his time with Raymond in June. "Just being around him, he's such a real guy, such a smart man. The legend. Just really love him as a coach and as a person.
"I feel like I became a better DB after this weekend. Matter of fact, just 20 minutes speaking with him briefly before my real long meeting, I learned so much. I learned different techniques, different stances, different plays. It was just amazing. Loved it. Learned a lot."
Denson, who pledged to Michigan State on July 4, is the No. 61 cornerback and No. 729 overall prospect in the class of 2024, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. He's collected offers from 28 schools, including nine SEC programs.
Florida currently possesses commitments from three defensive backs in the class of 2024, from Sarasota (Fla.) Cardinal Mooney cornerback Teddy Foster and safeties, McKinney (Texas) High's Xavier Filsaime and Nashville (Ga.) Berrien's Josiah Davis.
