Forney (Texas) High School linebacker Kelvion Riggins announced his top ten on Friday afternoon.

The 2025 prospect named the Florida Gators alongside Baylor, Georgia, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas and Texas A&M as the schools moving forward in contention for his services in the remainder of his open recruitment process.

Despite compiling one of the best position classes in the nation for 2024, luring Myles Graham, Adarius Hayes and Aaron Chiles into commitments, linebackers coach Jay Bateman remains steadfast on the recruiting trail in the ensuing cycle.

While in-state prospects Tarvos Alford, Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng and Gavin Nix have emerged as priority targets for Florida at the spot, Riggins makes up one of the notable out-of-state talents on the Gators' radar along with Zayden Walker and Riley Pettijohn

Ranked as the nation's No. 22 linebacker and No. 201 overall talent, Riggins has flashed his skillset as a physical second-level defender through two seasons with the Rabbits. His high-level closing speed in pursuit of ball carriers has earned him recognition from some of the nation's top programs.

Rigging earned a Texas District 6-5A D-II first-team selection at defensive end during his sophomore campaign, although he is being recruited to play off-ball at the next level due to the sub-6-foot, 205-pound frame he sports.

He presents the athleticism and versatility from the middle to fit defensive coordinator Austin Arsmtrong's scheme adequately.

The Gators currently hold no commitments in the 2025 class.
