Florida Gators wide receiver target, Hardley Gilmore, from Pahokee High School (Fla.) has reclassified to the 2024 recruiting class from 2025, he confirmed to All Gators on Friday.

He will begin taking official visits, starting with Kentucky during the June 16-18 weekend.

Gilmore — the former high school teammate of UF’s 2025 quarterback commit Austin Simmons — stands at 6-foot-1, 165 pounds with the long limbs and verified speed to be a legitimate deep ball threat at the next level.

Consistently creating separation when working vertically during his sophomore season, Gilmore garnered high praise from several Power Five schools nationally, seeing his offer list boom in the process.

He ranked in the top 105 for prospects in the 2025 class, per 247Sports Composite Rankings, and is expected to take on a similarly high grade as he moves into the cycle currently in focus.

Wide receivers coach Billy Gonzales, who returned to Florida this offseason to fill the assistant void after a one-year hiatus from the program, re-enters the fold with pressure to quickly equip the positions corps with a variety of pass catching talent for franchise quarterback commit DJ Lagway.

Gilmore received attention to be one of those piece since the team offered on Feb. 1. Despite his reclassification, he will still be a top candidate to fill the void of explosiveness on the boundary for UF.

Gonzales will look to capitalize on Florida’s relatively early entry into his recruitment as the in-state pass catcher starts to narrow his focus in the coming weeks.

Already set to take a trip to Lexington, there’s potential for an official visit to date to Gainesville — which would be his third trip to campus (more than any other school) — in the coming months.
