A former Florida State Seminole has been dismissed from another college football program.

Bishop Thomas, a former three-star recruit in FSU's 2022 recruiting class, has been dismissed from the Colorado Buffaloes, per Buffs Beat. Thomas transferred to play for Colorado and Deion Sanders in May of 2023. According to PFF, he played 123 total snaps in nine games for the Buffs - 117 of them on defense - before he was suspended for violation of team rules at the end of the season.

Thomas finished 2023 with a PFF defensive grade of 56.1, which ranked No. 31 out of 39 players who saw the field for Colorado last season. He also finished with a run defense grade of 54.9, a pass rush grade of 56.5, and a coverage grade of 60.0.

The transfer portal window is currently closed to non-graduate transfers. However, Thomas can enter the portal once the spring window (April 15-30) arrives.

Thomas appeared in two games for Florida State (vs Boston College, Louisiana), recording one assisted tackle. In nine games at Colorado, the 6'2", 305-pound freshman collected seven total tackles, two tackles for loss, one pass deflection, and one fumble recovery. He will have three years of eligibility remaining.

Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes have lost 13 players to the transfer portal this offseason. However, they have also brought in 24 new players, currently holding the No. 5 transfer class, according to 247Sports.
