2024 Georgia Tech Commit Trey Horne Earns National Player of the Week Honors From MaxPreps

Georgia Tech commit Trey Horne plays at Rabun Gap-Nacoochee in the state of Georgia and is having a phenomenal season. After his latest performance, Horne was voted to be the MaxPreps player of the week. Horne racked up 159 yards last week and scored a whopping five touchdowns.

According to MaxPreps, Horne is the leading rusher for Rabun Gap, carrying the ball for 239 yards on 37 carries, averaging 6.5 yards per carry and has 11 touchdowns. Horne is not just a threat on the ground though. He is a fantastic receiver and leads Rabun Gap in receiving. Horne has caught 44 passes for 635 yards and five touchdowns, averaging over 14 yards per catch. He is a versatile two-way player and one that is going to make an impact at Georgia Tech sooner than later.

On the 247Sports Composite, Horne is a three-star player and the No. 742 player in the country. He is ranked the No. 85 player in the state of Georgia.

Georgia Tech's 2024 recruiting class is currently ranked 32nd on 247Sports.

Georgia Tech faces North Carolina this Saturday in Atlanta. Kickoff is set for 8:00 p.m.
