Four-Star Cornerback Tae Harris Will Take An Official Visit to Georgia Tech in June

Georgia Tech is in the mix for the four star cornerback

Since he decomitted from Georgia, Georgia Tech has been pursuing four-star cornerback Tae Harris and had him on campus for visits. Today, it was announced that Harris is going to be taking an official visit to Georgia Tech in June. He will be at Clemson the first week of June and at Georgia Tech the following week.

On the 247Sports Composite, Harris is rated as a four-star prospect and the No. 224 prospect in the country, the No. 26 cornerback, and the No. 29 prospect in the state of Georgia. He plays at Cedartown High School in Georgia and also has offers from Colorado, Florida, LSU, Miami, Tennessee, and UCF, among others.

Key and his staff are going to hope to put together a strong 2025 class to follow up the strong finish they had to their 2024 class. Getting a talented player like Harris would be a heck of a start.

Here are some stats and info on Harris courtesy of 247Sports:

"Also runs track. Took 10th at GHSA 4A meet as a sophomore in the 100-meter dash. Owns times of 10.73, 10.86 (-0.5), 10.90, 10.99, 11.01 and 11.03 in the event.

Georgia Tech is hoping to land Harris and it would be huge for Brent Key and his staff to do so. The Yellow Jackets recently hired their new defensive backs coach Cory Peoples away from Georgia State and it would be a huge win for him this summer if they can land Harris. This will be a recruitment to watch this summer.
