Georgia Tech Is One Of Several Schools To Contact Transfer Receiver Keon Coleman

In this story:
Michigan State wide receiver Keon Coleman entered the transfer portal recently and became the top player available. He is a big-time talent at the wide receiver position and was the leading receiver for the Spartans last season with 58 catches for 798 yards and seven touchdowns while averaging 13.8 YPC.
Yesterday, Coleman revealed the schools that he has heard from since entering the portal and the list of schools is staggering. One of the schools is Georgia Tech and with their situation at the wide receiver position, I expect GT to try and land a talent like Coleman.

With so many departures from last year's team and the loss of Leo Blackburn for the season, Georgia Tech has had a question mark at the receiver position. Malik Rutherford had a terrific spring game and there is hope for guys like Christian Leary, Chase Lane, D.J. Moore, and Avery Boyd to take a step up and be consistent contributors.
There are some Michigan State connections to Georgia Tech. Defensive line coach Marco Coleman and defensive backs coach Travares Tillman were both coached in East Lansing under Mel Tucker.
As much as the Yellow Jackets could use him, I don't see Coleman seriously considering Georgia Tech. He has already taken an official visit to Florida State and other top schools are reportedly in the mix for Coleman.
In the spring window, Georgia Tech has only added one player and that is Princeton offensive lineman Connor Scaglione.
Expect Brent Key and the rest of the staff to swing for the fences, but this is one target that might not be a realistic get for the Yellow Jackets currently.
