Three-Star Running Back Jaedon Matthews Commits To Georgia Tech
Georgia Tech now has two running backs in its 2024 recruiting class.
Shortly after adding in-state running back Trelain Maddox (Lilburn, GA), Georgia Tech has added a running back from out west. Jaedon Matthews (Scottsdale, AZ) joined the Yellow Jackets class and will look to form the backfield of the future alongside Maddox. This is the second commitment now in two days for Georgia Tech, as they landed three-star offensive tackle Jordan Floyd (Lilburn, GA) last night.

Other offers that Matthews had included Arizona State, Cal, Colorado, Duke, Kansas, Kansas State, Washington State, and Wisconsin.
Matthews is now the 12th commitment for Georgia Tech and that moves the Yellow Jackets up to 30th in the 247Sports recruiting rankings. While the Yellow Jackets still rank 10th in the ACC, they are closing in on both Louisville and Miami.
