Miami University football's 2025 class got noticeably stronger in the month of April.

6'7" 215-pound tight end Brendan Loftus announced his commitment to the RedHawks via X, this week. 247Sports rated Loftus as a three-star recruit and the #36 recruit in the state of Illinois. Loftus prepped at Loyola Academy. He chose Miami from an extensive list of scholarship offers, including San Diego State, Appalachian State, Marshall, Toledo, and others.
