Vegas Sets Odds For A Liberty CUSA Championship

Unsurprisingly, the undefeated, 8-0 Liberty Flames have the clearest path to a Conference USA title. 

SportsBetting.ag released odds on Monday morning for the winner of Conference USA, based on what we've seen from the league so far.

In their first season as a member of Conference USA, the Liberty Flames have secured a spot in the league championship game. Liberty improved their record to 8-0 on the year after a 42-29 road win at Western Kentucky this past Tuesday night.

Liberty have the top offense in CUSA, scoring 37 points per game and averaging 488.4 yards per game. Jamey Chadwell's offense also has two of the league's top three rushers with running back Quinton Cooley (100.3 yards per game) and quarterback Kaidon Salter (76.8 yards per game). The Liberty defense also has forced the second-most turnovers in FBS through Week Nine with 19.

The Flames' next opponent will be the 3-6 Louisiana Tech Bulldogs, who visit Lynchburg this Saturday on CBS Sports Network. Kickoff is set for 6 PM ET. Liberty opened as a 16.5-point favorite.
