The Mid-American Conference sent six teams to bowl games following the conclusion of the 2023 regular season. It wasn't a particularly great showing for the league with just two wins and four losses. However, the postseason still provided a handful of memorable moments for one of the G5's more consistent leagues.

Here's how all six MAC postseason teams stack up with one another.

6 - Eastern Michigan

EMU had just about the worst day imaginable in their 68 Ventures Bowl loss to South Alabama. In the 59-10 beatdown, the Eagles had just ten first downs all night and started a brawl on the field during USA's celebration.

5 - Miami (OH)

The RedHawks had to turn to inexperienced quarterbacks in awful weather little success. App State's experience shone through as the Mountaineers claimed a very rainy Cure Bowl 13-9.

4 - Toledo

The Rockets were missing many of their better playmakers due to transfer portal departures, but still had some good moments in an Arizona Bowl loss to Wyoming. Jacquez Stuart had an 80-yard touchdown run to give them a lead going into the half. Ultimately, the Cowboys hit a field goal as time expired for a 16-15 win.

3 - Bowling Green

The Falcons passed for 221 yards, while Minnesota had 26 pass yards in the Quick Lane Bowl. However, the Gophers held on for a 30-24 win over the Falcons. It was an admirable, but ultimately unsuccessful attempt for Scot Loeffler's team.

2 - Northern Illinois

NIU did exactly what they needed to in order to in the Camellia Bowl, which was limit opportunities for the Arkansas State offense. NIU held the ball for over 75% of the game in a 21-19 victory in Montgomery.

1 - Ohio

Even without star quarterback Kurtis Rourke, the Bobcats took care of business in the Myrtle Beach Bowl. Rickey Hunt and Parker Navarro led a strong rushing attack that totaled 232 yards with Hunt scoring five touchdowns. The Bobcat defense also forced five turnovers in the 41-21 victory.
