Howard's Offensive Lineman Receives NFL Combine Invitation And Meets NFL Teams At East-West Shrine Bowl

Howard University's star offensive lineman has been invited to the 2024 NFL Combine.

The 2024 NFL Scouting Combine invited Howard University's offensive lineman, Anim Dankwah, to participate in this year's event, according to Gerald J. Huggins. Dankwah's 6'8" and 363-pound stature makes him a highly coveted NFL offensive tackle prospect.

The Bison's head coach Larry Scott joined the East-West Shrine Bowl as an HBCU Coaching Fellowship participant.

A report from Joe Clark says the Pittsburgh Steelers, Chicago Bears, and Carolina Panthers met with Dankwah at the 2024 East-West Shrine Bowl this week.  Carolina has been one of his favorite teams since childhood.

Last season, the Accra, Ghana native was in graduate school as the Bison earned their first trip to a Celebration Bowl. Dankwah received the All-MEAC First-Team Offense award twice, in 2022 and 2023.
