1. Florida A&M (6-1, 5-0 SWAC)

Texas Southern floored Florida A&M twice to lead 14-0 in the second quarter. The Rattlers got off the mat and rattled off 31 unanswered points to win 31-21 against the Tigers in H-Town.   FAMU has a difficult test when Prairie View A&M comes to Bragg Stadium, hoping to spoil Homecoming for alums and fans!

2. NCCU (6-1, 1-0 MEAC)

On paper, it was a close match against Morgan State, but the Eagles were in control of the entire defensive match for a 16-10 victory.

3. Benedict (8-0, 6-0 SIAC)

The Benedict Tigers rode the Kentucky State Thorobreds to their eighth straight win to control its fate in the SIAC. Benedict scored 42 unanswered points to thrill its Homecoming crowd, winning 63-14.

4. Tennessee State (5-2, 1-1 OVC)

Eddie George's Tigers won their third-straight game at Homecoming against Lincoln University with a score of 54-0. They are now preparing to face Lindenwood in their upcoming conference game on Oct. 28.

5. Virginia Union (7-1, 5-1 CIAA)

The Lincoln (PA) Lions were defeated 57-0 by the VA Union Panthers. Coach Alvin Parker's team will face Bluefield State on Saturday and then Virginia State in the mega-season finale of the CIAA's two best teams.
