Travis Hunter, Henry Blackburn Met, Hope To Cease Death Threats

Former Jackson State cornerback meets with Colorado State's defensive back Henry Blackburn, whose late hit in the Colorado-CSU game sent him to the hospital. Blackburn posted a video of their encounter on social media.
Great to see: Colorado's Travis Hunter and Colorado State's Henry Blackburn met and and hung out to show fans they're good after Blackburn received death threats from people following his hit on Hunter 👏

Hopefully this stops the death threats to Blackburn and his family, that… https://t.co/uGQJ7nmBoI pic.twitter.com/e7n3KVP9Dc
Hunter was taken to the Colorado hospital and treated for a lacerated liver. Ex-Jackson State head coach Deion Sanders gave positive thoughts on Blackburn by saying, "He made a tremendous hit on Travis on the sideline. You could call it dirty, you could call it he was just playing the game. But ... it does not constitute that he should be receiving death threats. This is still a young man trying to make it." Sanders continued, "He does not deserve a death threat over a game. Very unfortunate. I'm sad. If there's any of our fans, that's on the other side of those threats, I would hope and pray not, but that kid was just playing the best of his ability. He made a mistake. So I forgive him."
