Indiana Offers 2024 Four-Star Point Guard Curtis Givens III From Montverde

After a big weekend on the Nike EYBL AAU circuit, Indiana offered four-star point guard Curtis Givens III from Montverde Academy.

Indiana offered a scholarship to class of 2024 point guard Curtis Givens III following a big weekend.

Givens averaged 18.8 points and 4.4 assists while shooting 40.7 percent from the 3-point line for MOKAN Elite on the Nike EYBL AAU circuit. His weekend included two 28-point games, along with 19 total assists and two turnovers in four games.

After his impressive showing, Indiana and Texas joined a long list of schools to offer Givens, including Florida, Georgetown, Illinois, LSU, Maryland, Memphis, Ole Miss, Saint John's, Syracuse, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Xavier and others.

Givens, a 6-foot-3 point guard, is a consensus four-star prospect, ranked No. 56 in the nation in the ESPN Top 100, No. 71 by On3, No. 87 by 247Sports and No. 99 by Rivals. Originally from Memphis University School in Tennessee, Givens transferred to Montverde Academy before his junior year of high school.

Givens is yet another player that Indiana is pursuing from Montverde Academy. Point guard Jalen Hood-Schifino recently declared for the NBA Draft after winning Big Ten Freshman of the Year for Indiana, and his teammate Malik Reneau will likely take on a starting role for the Hoosiers in 2023-24 after backing up first-team All-American Trayce Jackson-Davis as a freshman.

Coach Mike Woodson is also recruiting 2024 Montverde prospects Liam McNeeley (No. 8, per ESPN), Derik Queen (No. 9) and Asa Newell (No. 16), who have all taken visits to Indiana. Indiana currently does not have any commitments in the class of 2024.
