WATCH: DJ Wagner makes a beautiful pass to Adou Thiero for the slam against Saint Joseph's

DJ Wagner has done a lot well for the Cats against Saint Joseph's.

It's no secret that DJ Wagner hasn't had the start to the season many imagined, including himself.

At one time, Wagner was a projected top-ten pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, but I saw him in a mock draft today, barely being selected in the first round.

All there is for Wagner to do is keep his head up, work hard, and figure it out.

Slowly, over the past couple of games, Wagner has been figuring things out on the court, including in this ball game.

With a little over ten minutes left in this ball game, Wagner has nine points, two rebounds, five assists, a steal, and a block.

One of his best plays of the game was in the middle of the second half when he drove the ball to the rim, saw he didn't have a good look at a layup, and dumped the ball off to Adou Thiero for the two-hand slam.

While Reed Sheppard and Rob Dillingham have been incredible to start the season, the Cats need Wagner to get it going, so hopefully his performance against Stonehill and the first 30 minutes against Saint Joseph's will be the boost he needs.

There is no doubt in my mind that Wagner will get it figured out and be one of Kentucky's best players in March.

Let's take a look at Wagner's dish to Thiero against the Saint Joseph's Hawks.
