USA Basketball announced a 41-athlete player pool for the 2024 Men's National Team, which will eventually be whittled down to 12 players to represent the United States in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

Five of those 41 players on the initial list are former Kentucky Wildcats, giving coach John Calipari's program a great chance of being represented in Paris in 2024.

The players were selected by managing director and former Duke star Grant Hill, and features 28 players who have represented the USA in the Olympics or FIBA World Cup previously. The list is subject to change.

The five Kentucky alumni who were selected are: Bam Adebayo (Miami Heat) Devin Booker (Phoenix Suns) Anthony Davis (Los Angeles Lakers) De'Aaron Fox (Sacramento Kings) and Tyler Herro (Miami Heat).

While all five are unlikely to make the final cut, Kentucky will almost certainly have at least one other representative in Paris assuming superstar guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander suits up for Team Canada, and they might have both of Canada's starting guards if Jamal Murray joins.
