Kentucky Briefing: It's time to buy into how good this Kentucky basketball team truly is this season
The Kentucky Wildcats just took down the Illinois State Redbirds to get the record to 10-2 on the season.
It still seems like the college basketball world isn't quite giving the Kentucky Wildcats the respect they deserve. It's no secret the loss to UNC Wilmington is going to hurt this basketball team down the road.
You can argue both sides of this UNCW game and say one of two things: one would be it was early in the season with a young team, and the second opinion would be that a bad loss is a bad loss, and that is all that matters.
That loss is going to haunt this team for a while and will have an effect on the NCAA Tournament seeding, but at the end of the day, this is one of the best teams in all of college basketball.
This is one of the best offensive teams in college basketball, and as Aaron Bradshaw and Ugonna Onyenso continue to get back into the flow of things, the defense will improve.
This Kentucky basketball team will make a deep run in the NCAA Tournament, and it is time for the college basketball world to buy stock.
