When it comes to seeding for the NCAA Tournament, there are no rankings more important than KenPom and the NET Rankings.

Thanks to Kentucky's win over the North Carolina Tar Heels, they took a massive step up the NET Rankings.

Last week, when we discussed the NET Rankings, Kentucky was at the 39 spot, but after the massive over the Tar Heels, the Cats moved up all the way to number 27.

As it sits right now, Kentucky's win over the Tar Heels is a Quad 1 win as they are number 37 in the NET Rankings, and this game was at a neutral site.

Let's look at Kentucky's record broken up by Quads, as we are now ten games into the 2023-24 season.

Quad 1: 1-1

Quad 2: 2-0

Quad 3: 1-1

Quad: 4-0

This big win for the Cats is going to be very significant when we get closer to March, and it really helps you rebound in the ranking systems after the loss to UNC Wilmington.

We have been saying it for weeks, but this Kentucky team is one of the best in college basketball, and college basketball fans are beginning to realize.
