WATCH: A high-effort play from Adou Thiero leads to a Rob Dillingham layup against St. Joseph's

This Kentucky basketball team plays the game with a ton of effort.

This Kentucky basketball team definitely hasn't hit its stride yet this season, but one thing has been consistent all year long: the Cats play with a ton of effort.

As we near the end of the first half one of the best plays of the half so far was a sequence where Saint Joseph's was taking the ball down the court and Adou Thiero intercepted a pass.

After Thiero intercepted this pass, he got the ball to Antonio Reeves. Reeves tried to throw a lob to Rob Dillingham, but the pass was a bit too high, so Dillingham just caught it and laid it in rather than going for the slam.

There will be times when the Cats don't make shots or things don't go Kentucky's way, but one thing is for sure: they will play the game hard and the right way.

This layup for Dillingham was one of his four made field goals, giving him ten points as we near the half.

Dillingham also has three rebounds and an assist to go with his ten points.

The freshman guard continues to be one of the best freshman stars in all of college basketball.

The Cats have a slight lead over Saint Joe's as we get closer to the half, but the Hawks are staying in this one.

Let's take a look at this beautiful hustle play from Thiero, Reeves, and Dillingham to get the Cats two points against the Saint Joseph's Hawks.
