Kentucky Star Joined Rapper On Stage In Lexington

A Kentucky star made an appearance at a concert in Lexington.

It was a big weekend for the Kentucky Wildcats as they got a big win over the Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday in Knoxville.

This 85-81 win over rival Tennessee secured Kentucky as a two-seed in the SEC Tournament, which gave the Wildcats a double bye in Nashville. The Wildcats will open the SEC Tournament, playing the winner between Texas A&M (7 seed) and Ole Miss (10) seed.

On Sunday, after celebrating the big win over Tennessee, a lot of the Kentucky players went to see world-famous rapper Drake in concert. On music streaming service Spotify, Drake is ranked number four in the world when it comes to how much his music is streamed. Drake is a very big fan of Rob Dillingham, and he made that clear by bringing him out on stage during his concert.

On stage, when talking about Dillingham, Drake called him his famous nickname, "shifty."' This is thanks to Dillingham's Instagram handle @Robwitdashifts. The famous rapper follows Dillingham on Instagram and has been posting about him all season long.

This was clearly an incredible moment for Dillingham to be on stage with one of the world's most famous musicians, but it is also a great recruiting pitch for John Calipari. Coach Calipari and Drake are friends, and when playing in Canada earlier this year, the team swam at Drake's pool.

What other college basketball program can say, "Hey, if you're a star here, you will get brought out on stage by Drake." The answer is none, and it shows why Coach Calipari brings in top talent every season.
