PODCAST: Kentucky Basketball Back On The Recruiting Trail
Kentucky basketball has set a visit with five-star Meleek Thomas.
John Calipari is widely considered one of the best recruiters in all of college basketball, as he had the number one class in 2023 and currently has the number two class only behind Duke for 2024. Having the best players and recruiting guys who can really play are two different things, and it seems like Coach Cal did a great job in this regard for the 2023 class. But now Calipari is almost done recruiting the 2024 class and has moved his focus over to the 2025 class.
One of the players Calipari is focusing on is five-star guard Meleek Thomas, who is ranked as the number six player in the entire 2025 class according to 247Sports composite rankings. Thomas is a 6'4, 175-pound guard who can shoot the ball and get to the rim. Joe Tipton of On3 announced that Thomas plans to visit Kentucky on February 3rd.
