Ryan Mueller's XFL Journey

Ryan Mueller was born in New Jersey and will be heading back that way in less than 2 months for The New York Guardians mini-camp. You probably remember Mueller best by the 11.5 sack season he had at KSU in 2013. This guy is so much more than that. After graduating in 2014 he went undrafted to The Philadelphia Eagles, where he was later cut and picked up by The San Diego Chargers, who also parted ways with Mueller. After that Mueller didn't get discouraged, he went back home and started back at his landscaping business in the Kansas City area. At the age of 26 he got an offer he couldn't, at that time refuse. He was aaked to come play football in Canada for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. One year into his 2-year contract some life things came up and he decided to move back to Kansas and get back on that mower.
Now, its 2019 and the XFL is returning and Ryan decides to give it a shot. Then on October 16th he was given that opportunity by the New York Guardians as they drafted him in the other players section of the draft. Ryan will report to mini-camp on December 9th,then training camp in January and see what happens from there.
While speaking with Ryan over the phone we did get into some conversations about former players that he still stays in touch with and Coach Snyders retirement. Ryan said " Coach Snyder is a great coach that you hate to see step down but unfortunately it happend and Klieman should be a fine replacement as Snyder helped bring him in." The one big thing Ryan wants everyone to know is that he is excited to compete in the XFL and he will fight to make it back to the NFL.
