Senior Isaiah Zuber to transfer from Kansas State

If you've been following, you know how much faith I've put in to Isaiah Zuber when it comes to this upcoming season. Well, those dreams can be put to rest. According to a Kansas State, Zuber has entered his name in to the transfer portal, and will not return to the K-State in Fall. The full story:

With Hunter Rison's status for the season to be determined, Zuber's transfer not only comes as a surprise, but also puts the Wildcats' receiving corps in a bad spot.
With 52 catches, over 600 yards and five touchdowns last season, the redshirt senior was the most significant returning piece in the pass-catching department for first year head coach Chris Klieman.
His departure will mean that younger, less experienced receivers will have to step up. Names to watch include redshirt sophomore Chabastin Tayler and redshirt senior Dalton Schoehn.
Starting quarterback Skylar Thompson may be more inclined to add to his run total from last year, too. The redshirt junior ran the ball 105 times for 373 yards and five touchdowns last season. It's also possible that Klieman just decides to hand the ball off 70 times a game to one of his many running back options.
