Cats in the NBA.

With the regular season a little over a week away i wanted to talk about the former Cats on the hardwood.
Cats in the NBA.
Cats in the NBA.

First off lets start with Rodney Mcgruder, who was drafted in 2013 by the Los Angeles Clippers. He never really blossomed in the Clippers organization and was eventually picked up by the Miami Heat. In 2016 he made the Heat depth chart and has had some great seasons with them, including last year where he averaged 7.6 ppg and 3.6 rpg. Next up we have Wesley Iwundu, who was taken in the 2nd round of the 2017 draft by The Orlando Magic. He has definetly had some struggles transitioning into the NBA from college. Last season he averaged 5 ppg and 2.7 rpg.

Now we have the 2 guys that I know we all will miss in Bramlage. Dean Wade went undrafted to The Cleveland Cavaliers but managed to sign a 2-way contract with them. This means he should have the opportunity to plan in some NBA games during his G-League season with Canton. Barry Brown Jr also went undrafted, but The Minnesota Timberwolves signed him to a 2-way contract today. He should also appear in some NBA games this year.

Be on the lookout for all 4 of our former players on your tv as the NBA has games broadcasted nearly every night once the season begins on the 22nd. I will be posting more updates as the season progresses.
