Despite fielding offers from "Akron. Toledo. Kent State. Ohio. Air Force. West Point. Virgina Tech. Wisconsin. Colorado and Kansas State. And South Dakota," the 6'4" Kansas high school product chose the Wildcats because "I definitely liked the family feeling and how everyone seemed to care for you when on my visits."
This is becoming a theme for Wildcat recruits. Every single recruit that we talked to has mentioned the family atmosphere of the program, and how much the coaching staff has demonstrated care for student-athletes as people. This undoubted holdover from the Bill Snyder era is one that fans all over are excited to hear.

Stufflebean is 6'4", 235lbs and lined up on both sides of the ball for McPherson, while primarily playing as a tight end. In Manhattan, they'll work to figure out where he lines up, but don't be surprised if tight end sticks for this 2020 recruit.
Despite all of the offers and contacts, which Cody indicates started before his junior year when he was contacted by "Akron after the sharp combine," Cody only took one official visit. "I visited Iowa State before and that was it before I committed. I was scheduled to go to Wisconsin on the 21 but I decided to commit since spots were getting low."
Stufflebean was first contacted by Kansas State in January. His first contact came from an unlikely source, as it was Kansas State's safety coach Joe Klanderman who made first contact on behalf of the Cats.
Of new coach Chris Klieman Stufflebean says that "I first talked to coach Klieman on my junior day visit and ever since then he has be a very nice and approachable person who you just want to be around."

Wildcat fans should be excited for this recruit to get on campus.
