Wildcats in Waiting, 2020: Hadley Panzer, IOL, Kansas

Hadley Panzer was waiting for this offer. And, very quickly after he finally received it, he pounced on it, committing to Kansas State less than 48 hours after being offered by coach Chris Klieman.
After looking all across the country, I can now say Kansas has been and always will be home! God is good & I am happy to announce my commitment to further my education & football career at Kansas State University. #CATS @CoachKli @CoachCRiles @spedbraet @CoachMessingham pic.twitter.com/nvYqpFy1P8

In committing, Panzer became Klieman's 5th in state commitment from the 2020 recruiting cycle.
This sort of in-state work, coupled with the work they're doing in Texas, has raised national attention already for the Wildcats and the #EMAW2020 sweeping Wildcat Nation.
Excited to be back in Manhattan this weekend! Jacked to meet the voice of the Wildcats as well! 🗣💪🏼@CoachKli @CoachCRiles @spedbraet #WinTheDangDay pic.twitter.com/mqLxN5y3XC

The Lakin, Kansas interior line prospect has good hands and strong mental capacity to excel in Manhattan. And, at 6'4" and 295lbs Panzer already has the size and strength to compete in the Big 12 - and still has a year before even getting to the Little Apple.
Currently an interior offensive lineman, I wouldn't be surprised to see Panzer move to the defensive line (which he also plays in high school), or kick out to tackle at the college level.
Wildcat fans can smile, too, knowing that one of their latest commitments comes from someone who is a born and bred Kansas farmer:
Driving through Lakin today & messaged Hadley Panzer (one of the top KS 2020 OL/DL & best 285# wrestler in KS) about getting an interview at his HS stadium.

He had to decline cause he’s planting sorghum today. Love to see the hardworking kids in KS & he’s one of them!
