Jojo Wilson is a Houston, TX cornerback product who committed to Kansas State after multiple visits and a long recruiting process.

Jojo Wilson's recruiting process started earlier than most. He says that "My first contact with a college coach was my freshman year."

Now, in the summer before his senior year, he has finally decided to commit to Kansas State and coach Chris Klieman.

He says that he did not speak to Klieman during the recruiting process, and that the "first time me and Coach Klieman talked he offered me..."

Instead, Wilson's first and primary contact with Kansas State was with secondary coach Van Malone.

Wilson says that he took a lot of visits during his recruiting process, including: "Oregon State, Kansas , Arizona, University of Houston, Tulane, Florida Atlantic, Texas Southern, New Mexico, Prairie View , ULM, UMass."

Jojo says that visiting Kansas State was different than everywhere else. "I know K-State is the place for me to come and grow and as soon as I get there as a freshman I’m going to make and instant impact and make the city of Manhattan cheer."

247sports ranks JoJo Wilson as the fourth ranked prospect so far for Chris Klieman's 2020 class. I suspect, however, that he may be the most likely to find significant playing time in his freshman season.

Once in Manhattan, Wilson plans to major in Agriculture.
