Wildcats in Waiting, 2020: Makholven Sonn, Wide Receiver, Louisiana

After receiving offers from multiple big times programs, Louisiana product Makholven Sonn committed to Kansas State as its first 2020 receiver recruit.

At only 5'11, 165lbs taking one look at Westgate High School (LA) product may not give you the impression of a world class athlete. 

But his size does little to shed light on his ability. Sonn is an undervalued prospect ranked only 45th in his state, whose speed and hands jump off the chart to me on film. 

Sonn received offers from Arkansas, Houston, Kansas and West Virginia amongst big time college programs, in addition to Kansas State. 

Winning this recruiting battle over Arkansas and West Virginia, in particular, is a huge win for Chris Klieman's staff. 

Sonn will develop significantly in route running and physicality between now and playing games in Manhattan - and with that development, Wildcat fans should be incredibly excited:
