Matlack is 6'4", 211lb prospect who will profile nicely in to the defensive scheme Klieman will implement in Manhattan.
As the 6th ranked prospect in Kansas, Matlack represents the second high rated prospect in the Wildcats' 2020 class, so far.

Matlack had a lot of options. In addition to being offered by KSU, he also received offers from the Air Force Academy, Kansas, Illinois State, Northern Illinois and Syracuse.
Matlack also represents the first commitment in Klieman's 2020 class, having committed in March of his junior year in high school.
I am excited to see Matlack in Manhattan in the Fall of 2020. This kid is going to have a significant impact for KSU.
