Meet your 2019 recruit: Trevor Stange, OL, Texas

Trevor Stange is a Coppell HS graduate from the heart of Texas who committed to Kansas State after a recruiting battle with the Air Force Academy, and the local University of Houston.
But, what really stands out Stange is that he was also weighing offers from the Ivy League - as Harvard and Cornell also recruited the offensive line prospect.
That he was being recruited by top tier universities should give you insight in to his greatest strength on the football field. Stange has the makings of a future field general for the Wildcat offensive line, and we should expect to see him groomed for such a role by offensive line coach Conor Riley.
Stange garnered top 100 rankings from 247 sports and ESPN in their rankings of 2019 offensive linemen.
Stange is likely to learn a great deal playing behind the Kansas State offensive line which projects to be among the best ever.
When taken in tandem with the Poitier signing we profiled yesterday, the future of the Wildcat offensive line is as strong as its present.
