LSU announces 2019-20 basketball schedule

Tigers at Tennessee Jan. 4 to kick off SEC play

The LSU basketball team released its full schedule for the 2019-20 season as the team attempts to defend its crown as SEC champs.

Among the notable non-conference games, the Tigers will play at VCU, coach Will Wade's former school, on Nov. 13 on ESPN2, host UNO on Dec. 3 and travel to California to take on USC in the Staples Center on Dec. 21.

The Tigers will open up SEC play at Tennessee on Jan. 4 as they will look to attempt to find similar success that led to a 16-2 conference record in 2018 and an SEC title. 

LSU will also take on Ole Miss Feb. 1 at the PMAC on the 50th anniversary of Pete Maravich breaking the NCAA scoring record against the Rebels in 1970.

Other SEC home games to watch out for include Kentucky at home Feb. 18, Georgia at home Mar. 7 and Florida at home on Jan. 21.
