LSU Remains No. 1 in AP Poll Following 46-41 Win Over Alabama
Fresh off the heels of beating No. 2 Alabama Saturday, it was no surprise to see LSU retain its No. 1 spot in the AP Poll when the rankings were released early Sunday afternoon.
The Tigers (9-0, 5-0) are one of five SEC teams ranked in the top-25 after week 11 with Alabama (4), Georgia (5), Florida (11) and Auburn (13) all earning spots in the top-20.

The real question now becomes how will the College Football Playoff committee rank LSU following its fourth win over a top-10 team at the time of kickoff. LSU was ranked No. 2 in the committee's first rankings that list which four teams will be playing for a national championship at season's end.
With LSU beating Alabama, who was ranked No. 3 by the committee a week ago, it's fair to assume the Tigers could leapfrog Ohio State who earned the No. 1 spot in the committee's first rankings.
The Tigers are back in action on Nov. 16 when the team travels to Oxford to take on Ole Miss.
