In this story:

LSU will receive a visit from 2025 quarterback Antwann Hill this summer as the Georgia native locks in on his recruitment process.

Hill, who put his name on the map after a standout sophomore campaign, already holds offers from Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee, among others. Now entering his junior season, he’s become one of the hottest names on the market.

Brian Kelly and Co. will host the four-star signal-caller for a visit June 16-17 where he’ll be accompanied by a handful of other 2025 targets.

Hill is an interesting prospect. One of the more physically gifted quarterbacks in his class, he already stands at 6-foot-5, 205 pounds, which gives him several benefits in the high school game.

With a slender frame, it’s clear the weight room will be his best friend over the next two years, but he’s already showing signs of progression in that area.

What makes him so special on the gridiron? The touch and arm strength he possesses. Hill is coming off of a strong 2022 season where he threw for 3,663 yards and 40 touchdowns. The state of Georgia has its fair share of gifted athletes, but Hill is certainly asserting himself as one of the best in the Peach State.

The arm strength Hill possesses is beyond his years. A player who can casually sling the ball 70 yards down the field as just a sophomore, it’ll be impressive to monitor his growth over his final two years of high school ball.

Despite no LSU offer being on the table just yet, quarterbacks coach Joe Sloan has been recruiting Hill for quite some time now with a scholarship on the horizon it appears if things continue trending positively.

The Tigers have offered only two quarterbacks in the 2025 class: Five-star Bryce Underwood, the No. 1 player in the class, and four-star George MacIntyre, who has also taken a visit to Death Valley.

LSU is playing it cool here in the 2025 class with Garrett Nussmeier and Rickie Collins already in their quarterback room, but continuing to bolster the talent level in that room will be important as time goes on with Jayden Daniels departing after the 2023 season.
