While the LSU Tigers are nearing a return to the bright lights in Death Valley, one former member of the purple and gold was making his return to the field of play Thursday night.

Running back Derrius Guice made his long awaited return to action in week three of the preseason after suffering a torn ACL in the 2018 preseason.

Guice, who ran for over 3000 yards and 29 touchdowns in three seasons at LSU, ran for 44 yards on 11 carries against the Atlanta Falcons Thursday night.

This nasty stiff arm, something Tiger fans know all to well about, was one of his first carries of the evening.

The 2018 second round pick figures to be a key piece of the Redskins rushing attack moving forward.
