Tiger Practice Report: Damien Lewis returns and Breiden Fehoko misses third straight practice

LSU right guard Damien Lewis made his return to practice Wednesday after missing more than a week sidelined with an ankle injury.

The Tigers were also without defensive end Breiden Fehoko, who missed his third straight practice, Chasen Hines, who has been in and out of practice the last week and Stephen Sullivan who missed his second straight practice. Sullivan is battling Thaddeus Moss for the starting tight end spot with Tory Carter taking reps at tight end in his absence.

Freshman nose tackle Siaki "Apu" Ika was a full participant in practice Wednesday after being in a gold, no contact jersey on Tuesday. As Ika was finishing up one particular drill, coach Ed Orgeron could be heard encouraging the young freshman with "That was your best rush so far."

In practice, Lewis was with the offensive line going through drills as a full participant.

The defense was working with Orgeron and defensive line coach Bill Johnson on reacting to the snap.
