Tigers looking to cap off 2023 spring camp on a high note, set to get things going in Tiger Stadium.

LSU wraps up its second spring under head coach Brian Kelly on Saturday as the Tigers hold the National L Club Spring Game presented by Tony Chachere’s in Tiger Stadium.

Saturday’s final spring session in Tiger Stadium will be streamed on SEC Network+ with Mike Morgan and Aaron Murray on the call. The announcers will be on the field during the telecast and will conduct in-game interviews with Kelly.

The contest will also be broadcast on the LSU Sports Radio Network and can be heard locally on 104.5/104.9 FM with Gordy Rush, Doug Moreau and Jacob Hester on the call.

The format for the scrimmage portion of the event will be offense vs. defense for four quarters or as long as time permits. The Tigers will have two 15-minute quarters for the first half followed by a pair of either 10 or 12-minute quarters in the second half.

5 points for missed field goal

2 points for PBU

2 points for missed 2-point conversion

2 points for missed point-after touchdown

1 point for sack or tackle for loss

1pm: Tigers take the field for pregame warmups 

Jacobian Guillory, Mac Markway and Greg Penn are out for today's game. 

1:20pm: The special teams portion of the spring game begins Nathan Dilbert handling the opening kickoff. Javen Nicholas and Gregory Clayton are back taking kickoff return duties. 

1:28pm: Jay Bramblett handles punting duties with both Greg Clayton and early-enrollee Kyle Parker getting work as the punt returners. 

1:30pm: The scripted red zone portion begins. 

1:36pm: Jayden Daniels connects with Malik Nabers on a fade route to the back corner of the end zone on the first play. Ohio State transfer JK Johnson in coverage. 

1:40pm: Brian Thomas Jr, Kyren Lacy and Malik Nabers running with the first-team wideouts. 

1:40pm: Zy Alexander and JK Johnson are running with the first-team cornerbacks. Sage Ryan at slot corner. Early-enrollee Javien Toviano also getting some run. 

1:41pm: Garrett Nussmeier enters the game to get some first-team reps under his belt. Early-enrollee Trey Holly also subs in. 

1:50pm: Scrimmage begins. 

1:52pm: Jayden Daniels connects with Kyren Lacy who makes an incredible grab over the middle. Lacy takes it 70 yards to the house on the first play of the scrimmage. 

1:56pm: Early-enrollee Jaxon Howard gets a sack to get the defense a point. He's looked the part during camp and it translates to today's game. 

1:59pm: Arizona transfer Paris Shand and Harold Perkins combine for a sack to get the defense another point. Defense holds the offense to a field goal attempt which is missed. That tacks on five more points for the purple (defense).

2:03pm: Early-enrollee Rickie Collins enters the game at quarterback for his first reps of the day. 

2:06pm: Collins throws an interception to early-enrollee Whit Weeks who returns it 55 yards for the score. Defense leads 14-7

2:15pm: Garrett Nussmeier completes a 7-yard touchdown pass to Brian Thomas Jr. after getting some run with the first-team. 

Score Update: Purple 16, White 14

2:22pm: The defense once again forces a three and out with Rickie Collins under center. Tacks on a point for purple. On fourth down, Oregon transfer Bradyn Swinson sacks Collins to give Purple a 24-14 lead. 

2:23pm: Jayden Daniels returns as the signal-caller for the offense on the final drive of the half. Damian Ramos misses the field goal as time expires. 

Halftime: Defense 29, Offense 14

2:40pm: Garrett Nussmeier connects with Landon Ibieta on the first play of the second half for a 70-yard TD. Defense leads 29 to 21. 

2:48pm: Jayden Daniels connects with early-enrollee Trey Holly for the 15-yard TD. Offense goes for the two-point conversion and is successful to tie things up at 29.
