LSU Football: 5-Star WR Commit Dakorien Moore Has Historic Night

Duncanville (Tex.) wide receiver Dakorien Moore had a Friday night for the history books after kicking off his junior campaign in a big way.
The five-star wideout revealed his commitment to Brian Kelly and the LSU Tigers on August 12 with all of his focus now shifting to winning another state championship.
On Friday, he made quite the first impression. Moore went off in Week 1 of the high school football season after reeling in seven catches for 281 yards and three touchdowns.
The No. 2 wide receiver in the 2025 class, who has received comparisons to LSU great Odell Beckham Jr., was unguardable on the gridiron with Duncanville ultimately taking home a convincing victory.
The 5-foot-11, 175-pound speedster put on display his crisp route running and advanced hand strength against South Oak Cliff after torching defenders on each snap.

Along with Moore, four-star LSU commit Caden Durham shined for Duncanville. LSU is forming a pipeline to the Texas powerhouse with both Moore (2025) and Durham (2024) pledging to the Tigers in August.
Durham, a Top 10 running back in the 2024 class, shined on Friday. The track speed Durham attains continues to impress and the top end speed makes him untouchable in open space.

Durham will be a two-sport athlete in the purple and gold after revealing his commitment to the Tigers. Along with being the next running back in Baton Rouge, Durham will also compete in track for one of the top programs in the country.
The Duncanville Duo has the chance to shine this season in Texas, and with Moore only beginning his junior campaign, he has time to continue polishing his game before making his way to Baton Rouge.
