LSU Lands Commitment From Four-Star OL Ethan Calloway

The Tigers go East to secure the North Carolina product, gain pledge from the fast-rising offensive lineman.

Brian Kelly and his coaching staff reel in another big fish on the recruiting trail after 2024 four-star offensive lineman Ethan Calloway revealed his commitment to LSU on Friday.

The North Carolina native pledged to the Tigers over Penn State, Florida and Georgia after taking official visits to each program in June.

At 6-foot-7, 300 pounds, Calloway is as physically impressive as they get at the high school level, and major programs put their foot on the gas for the fast-rising lineman.

A top offensive tackle in America, Calloway took the country by storm after a big-time junior campaign.

The youngster took time with his decision, but after making the trip down to Baton Rouge three times over the last nine months, his relationship with this coaching staff grew stronger.

For LSU, Calloway is the second interior offensive lineman to commit to the Tigers in their 2024 class, joining New Orleans native Khayree Lee as the pair of big guys up front to pledge to LSU thus far.

The addition of Calloway is a major victory for Brian Kelly’s program. It’s been clear the plan is to lock down Louisiana on the recruiting trail, but after going out and securing a top-five prospect in Tennessee (Ondre Evans) and now traveling East to land Calloway proves the Tigers are making their presence felt all over.

Calloway, the top offensive lineman in North Carolina, gives LSU another piece to their line moving forward. With Brad Davis coaching his guys up and continuing to hit the recruiting trail with force, we could see this position group take strides in the right direction sooner rather than later.

The Tigers have now landed five commitments during June with Calloway joining Joel Rogers (safety), Kylan Billiot (wide receiver), Ondre Evans (cornerback) and Michael Turner (wide receiver).

LSU’s 2024 class, which is currently ranked as a Top 10 class in America, sits with 18 commitments in the cycle with more dominoes set to fall during July.
