LSU laced up their cleats for the final day of Fall Camp with the Tigers scrimmaging in Death Valley on Saturday.

It was the final day for the media to take in a full practice before the Tigers gear up for their season opener against Florida State.

LSU went through an assortment of drills before the scrimmage began in the 19th period.

Here are a few notes from the practice and scrimmage:

Quarterbacks

Jayden Daniels: During the drill portion of practice, Daniels was in a groove in red zone work. He connected with Malik Nabers in the end zone twice while hitting Mason Taylor for another.

Daniels Scrimmage Notes: Daniels is improving on his intermediate balls and rolling to the outside without forcing the "hero ball" play. He didn't make any throws over 20 yards but the 10-15 yard passes were on display.

Garrett Nussmeier: The third-year Tiger shined during the drill portion of practice. He connected with Chris Hilton on a deep ball and then hit freshman tight end Jackson McGohan in the back left corner of the end zone.

Scrimmage Notes: Nussmeier controlled the pace for LSU. He connected on his short throws and made a few intermediate level throws to Chris Hilton.

Rickie Collins: It was a better day for Collins. The freshman signal-caller utilized Fall Camp to learn under Daniels and Nussmeier, and fast forward to the final day, and his improvement showed.

Collins hit with Shelton Sampson Jr. for a freshman-to-freshman connection during the drill portion of practice.

Running Backs

Logan Diggs: Diggs was off to the side once again on Saturday as LSU remains cautious with his return. He was seen on the bike and was limited.
