Video: What LSU players had to say about Florida win, looking ahead to Mississippi State

LSU preparing for 'hornet's nest' atmosphere Saturday in Starkville

No. 2 LSU heads to Starkville this week as heavy favorites over a Bulldog team coming off a loss to Tennessee over the weekend. But the Tiger players remain as focused as ever, knowing every game counts and the slightest slip could cost them their perfect season.

The quote that's spreading through the lips of Tiger fans all over Baton Rouge came from the mouth of senior quarterback Joe Burrow. Burrow, after the team defeated top-10 Florida on Saturday night, left his team with this parting message.

"Don't let good enough stand in the way of greatness," Burrow said.

The LSU players have seemed to take their senior leader's words to heart with defensive end Breiden Fehoko saying it felt like the team lost when he walked into the locker room Monday for team meetings.

"Everybody was just kind of really focused and not in a bad way but we just kind of felt like let's move on to the next game," Fehoko said.

With the Bulldogs now just a few days away, here's what some of the LSU players had to say about the matchup while also recapping the big win over Florida and the lessons to take away from that game.
