LSU Recruiting Update: Tigers Coming Off Of Monster Weekend

In this story:
Brian Kelly and the LSU Tigers are fresh off of a dominating victory over Grambling State in Death Valley on Saturday but this program also won off the field as well.
The Tigers hosted nearly 100 recruits over the weekend with several commits and priority targets making their way to Baton Rouge for game day.
A few recruiting notes from the weekend:
Gabriel Reliford - Flip Watch
Louisiana defensive lineman Gabriel Reliford is at the top of LSU’s Big Board in the 2024 class, and after getting the Texas A&M commit to Baton Rouge over the weekend, the Tigers continue their push to flip the Aggie pledge.
After the Tigers swung and missed on both Colin Simmons and Dominick McKinley, it’s been full steam ahead for Reliford’s services.
LSU offered the Louisiana native back in July, and after getting him down to campus for the first game day of the season, the Tigers could be picking up momentum here.
Reliford stayed in town for a multi-day stay with his family. The 6-foot-3, 255-pounder has seen this program put its foot on the gas for his services and will certainly be on flip watch this fall. This weekend was a positive stretch in pushing for his services.
Dakorien Moore, Caden Durham Make Their Return
2025 five-star wide receiver Dakorien Moore returned to Death Valley on Saturday repping an Odell Beckham Jr. graphic tee. A player that many compare Moore to, he’s taken the comparison and run with it.
On Saturday, Moore was accompanied by Duncanville (Tex.) teammate Caden Durham as the two met up with a handful of current LSU commitments.
Durham, who’s become a key recruiter for the Tigers ever since revealing his pledge, was seen in the ears of other priority targets on the field on Saturday.
The Future of the Tight End Room
LSU received visits from the future of its tight end room on Saturday with both Trey’Dez Green (2024) and JD LaFleur (2025) making their way to Tiger Stadium for the showdown against Grambling State.
Green, who’s up to 6-foot-7, 240 pounds as a senior, is as physically imposing as they come at his position in the 2024 class. A player who will be a two-sport athlete for the Tigers, it was key to get the standout athlete in town surrounded by current LSU commits.
LaFleur, who is only a junior, is already 6-foot-6, 230 pounds with an impressive skill set for his age. The pair of commitments were seen by each other with the future of this position group looking bright.
Commitments in Town:
- Wallace Foster
- Aeron Burrell
- Jojo Stone
- Kylan Billiot
- Tylen Singleton
- Dashawn McBryde
- Khayree Lee
- Brett Bordelon
- Etc.
