LSU stays at No. 4 in AP Poll after SEC win over Vanderbilt

After a 66-38 SEC opening win over Vanderbilt Saturday, LSU stayed put at No. 4 in the latest AP Poll on Sunday.
The Tigers trail Clemson, Alabama and Georgia for the third consecutive week in the standings. The Bulldogs are coming off a win over Notre Dame, who dropped to No. 10 after the loss.
Other SEC teams in the top-25 are Auburn (7), Florida (9) and Texas A&M, dropping to No. 23 after it’s loss to Auburn over the weekend.

LSU now has an extra week to get healthy before taking on Utah State on Oct. 5 and getting into the meat of its SEC schedule with Florida, Mississippi State, Auburn and Alabama in the coming weeks.
