Recruits React: Prospects Raving About Visits to LSU, Junior Day

In this story:
It was a busy day in Baton Rouge for Brian Kelly and his staff as LSU held their Junior Day event on campus. The Tigers brought in a number of the top 2024, 2025 and 2026 prospects for visits with the spring recruiting period in full swing.
LSU certainly put in their share of work on Saturday. From hosting players from across the nation to dishing out a few offers, it was a productive day for this program as they shift their focus to locking down future Tigers.
Recruits have been raving about their time in Baton Rouge as they take to social media to express their appreciation and overall thoughts on the visits.
Here’s a look into what they’re saying:
Blake Frazier - OT - 2024 - 4-Star
Frazier has been a high-rising prospect in the 2024 class after a productive junior campaign. After the Tigers offered Frazier in early January, he quickly became a priority target in the 2024 class.
A Top 10 offensive tackle in his class, offensive line coach Brad Davis will certainly be handling the recruitment of Frazier as he continues stacking his unit for the foreseeable future.
Here’s what Frazier posted to his social media:
Thank you @LSUfootball for an amazing weekend!! Really appreciate everyone involved in making this visit so amazing!! Can’t wait to be back! @coachbraddavis @Coach_TMalone @CoachBrianKelly pic.twitter.com/jRWLrK5ecC

Caleb Moore - DE/DT - 2024 - 4-star
The Oak Grove High product made his way to Baton Rouge, and after a successful visit to campus, he made sure to post on his socials the overall thoughts of his time with the staff.
An elite prospect in the 2024 class, the Tigers have their eye on Moore with the spring recruiting period heating up.
His post:
Had a great time at LSU!!! 🐯💜💛 @LSUfootball @CoachBrianKelly @CoachMHouse @Julie_Boudwin @RivalsCole pic.twitter.com/4eimFQpJlW

Joshua Lair - Defensive Back - 2024
Lair has blossomed into one of the more underrated prospects in the 2024 class from a rankings perspective. Despite this, his offer list is as impressive as it gets. With SEC schools in his ear, namely LSU, Tennessee and Texas A&M, among several others, he’s a big-time target for the Tigers.
“This was more than a visit, it was an experience. Thank you for having me!” Lair wrote on social media.
Casey Poe - Interior OL - 2024
Poe quickly became a priority target for the Tigers once this program extended an offer. An elite offensive lineman who is developing at a rapid rate, LSU knows the importance of landing a player of his caliber.
It’s safe to say Poe enjoyed his visit to Baton Rouge:
Extremely thankful to the @LSUfootball staff for making yesterday special! Can’t wait to make it back on campus soon. #GeauxTigers @Coach_Cochran @JacobAlford50 @coachbraddavis @BobbyBarham_LSU @CarlSt_Cyr @TigerDetails @BillyEmbody pic.twitter.com/FLUjp37NaE

Ahmad Breaux - EDGE - 2024
LSU dished out their most recent offer to Louisiana native Ahmad Breaux on Saturday, and shortly after earning an offer from Brian Kelly, Breaux decommitted from Duke as of Sunday morning.
With high-priority targets on campus, Kelly and Co. made it important to get face time with the Ruston product. Breaux, who had been committed to Duke for a few months, had a great visit to Baton Rouge where the Tigers ultimately made him feel right at home.
The 6-foot-3, 255 pound EDGE has been on a steady rise throughout high school, but a productive junior campaign has seen his recruitment take off. Breaux added an SEC offer from Missouri earlier this year as his rise continues.
