Recruits React: Prospects Raving After Trips to Baton Rouge

In this story:
LSU brought numerous high-priority targets to campus on Friday for their Bayou Splash recruiting event and it couldn’t have gone any smoother for a program looking to heat up on the trail.
Baton Rouge was the place to be and the LSU coaching staff knocked it out the park once again during the biggest event of the summer.
Prospects have been raving about their time down South after the program put together a pool party, barbecue and Football Operations Facility tour.
Hear what the recruits are saying about their time in Death Valley:
Ju’Juan Johnson - 2024 Cornerback Commit
Lafayette Christian Academy cornerback Ju’Juan Johnson has been a big-time recruiter for the purple and gold ever since he committed to the Tigers during the spring.
He’s expressed his intentions when it comes to the 2024 class and he’s doing everything in his power to get more names committed.
On Friday, Johnson made the drive over to Baton Rouge to help LSU’s recruiting efforts with the program turning up the heat for several prospects. From going to social media to expressing his thoughts on what LSU’s future looks like, Johnson remains vocal.
Yesterday was a Vibe at Da Crib!! We gone a few Natty’s at LSU! On God!!! 🙌🏾🐯💯

Colin Hurley - 2024 Quarterback Commit
Colin Hurley has become one of the biggest assets within LSU’s 2024 recruiting class. A talent on the field, he’s proven to be valuable off the field as well on the trail.
Whether it be on social media or making his way to Baton Rouge to help this program recruit, Hurley has played a pivotal role in elevating the Tigers 2024 class.
Hurley made the trek over to Death Valley on Friday, his third trip to Louisiana this summer, with his recruiting cap on. Hurley was in the ears of his peers once again looking to add some beef to the offensive line and develop relationships with other skill position players.
“More are on the way,” Hurley tells LSU Country.

Caden Durham - 2024 Running Back Target
Duncanville (Tex.) running back Caden Durham is at the top of LSU’s wish list within the 2024 class. The lone back Frank Wilson is recruiting this cycle, Durham has certainly felt the love from LSU over the last few months. In what will be an LSU vs. Oklahoma battle down the stretch, the Tigers continued making an impression.
Durham attended the Bayou Splash event on Friday accompanied by five-star EDGE Colin Simmons. The teammates will be staying in town for the weekend with the LSU staff taking strides in the right direction for two players who could very well be a package deal.

It’s also worth noting Durham has a decision date locked in for August 25th, making his trip to Baton Rouge that much more important.
