Pregame:
10:45 a.m.- Tiger Band gets the day started with the Fight Song, Alma Mater and National Anthem
10:57 a.m.- LSU and Utah State take the field
11:00 a.m.- Utah State wins the toss and defers to the second half
First Quarter
Ed Ingram does not draw the start at left guard after all. It's Adrian Magee at left guard and Dare Rosenthal at left tackle.
Clyde Edwards-Helaire turns a four yard loss into a five-yard gain.
LSU is in Utah State territory following a 16-yard completion to Justin Jefferson. Emery jukes his way down to the 10-yard line
John Emery touchdown but there's a flag. Holding call Thad Moss on the play negates the touchdown.
Seven yard touchdown to Derrick Dillon for a touchdown. Drive took 4 minutes, 19 seconds so for the Tigers that was long

Jordan Love's targets Derek Stingley on the first two plays Completes the second for a 14-yard first down.
Grant Delpit shaken up after a first down completion. Walks off on his own power. LSU has already lost safeties Kenan Jones and Todd Harris so needless to say, losing Delpit would be a huge loss.
Patrick Queen makes a great play in the backfield for a loss of five. 3rd-and-15 coming up for Utah State after a timeout. Delpit also heading to the locker room.
Bad snap forces Utah State offense off the field. Tigers to take over inside their own 5-yard line.
Joe Burrow overthrows Thad Moss and the pass is intercepted. Utah State takes over inside 10-yard line.
Neil Farrell sacks Jordan Love on third down as Tiger defense makes strong stand after the turnover. Utah State makes 30-yard field goal

Ed Ingram now in the game for LSU at left guard. Tigers currently on the 46-yard line after 10 yard carry by freshman Tyrion Davis-Price.
LSU tries to go hurry up on fourth down and Tigers come away empty Turnover on downs. Utah State takes over at their own 35-yard line.
A beautiful 35-yard reception by Siaosi Mariner has Aggies sitting pretty. Unfortunately Mariner is down on the field after the play. Mariner is able to walk off the field on his own power
A couple of dropped passes by Utah State has the Aggies at 3rd-and-10. Third down pass incomplete. 47-yard field goal good

Justin Jefferson takes a forward pass from Burrow and turns it into a 38-yard gain. Nice blocking down field by Ja'Marr Chase. Burrow on a quarterback keeper gets LSU in the redzone.
Second Quarter
Clyde Edwards-Helaire fumbles at the one-yard line to start the second quarter. Tigers recover to set up 2nd-and-goal from the 1.
Burrow scores from one yard out. 6 plays, 74 yards in 2:42.
Score Update: LSU 14, Utah State 6
Tiger secondary looking much better. JaCoby Stevens breaks up a pass on 3rd-and-8. Personal foul, roughing the kicker will send the defense back on the field
Cordale Flott beat on 3rd down and Utah State is in LSU territory. Killer penalty by the special teams comes back to bite them.
Derek Stingley Jr. with his second pick in as many games. This time it comes at the goal line and Tigers will start at their own 1-yard line. That was impressive to say the least

19-yard completion from Burrow to Dillon gives #LSU a first down. Dillon with 4 catches for 42 yards and a touchdown to lead the Tigers in the first half.
Ja'Marr Chase is going to make a weekly appearance on "You Got Moss'd." Touchdown reception No. 6 for Chase on a fade route from Burrow.

Patrick Queen has been all over the place today. Sniffs out another great play to bring up fourth down. Great half by the LSU defense continues against a very good quarterback.
Timeout on the play. Burrow and company take over at the 17-yard line with 2:52 to play with.
Half: LSU 21, Utah State 6
Defense was the story of the first as it holds Utah State and Jordan Love to 106 total yards. Aggies get the ball to start the second half.
Third Quarter
LSU defense fores a three-and-out on the first Utah State series of the second half.
Burrow took a deep shot to Derrick Dillon that fell incomplete. Fans wanted PI but Dillon might've simply fallen down. LSU timeout on 2nd-and-10.
LSU is inside the 5-yard line thanks to some nifty runs by Joe Burrow and Clyde Edwards-Helaire.
Joe Burrow finds Justin Jefferson in the endzone. Jefferson now with eight catches for 116 yards and a touchdown today.
Scoring Update: LSU 28, Utah State 6.
Roughing the kicker called on Utah State and it will bring the LSU offense back on the field.
Tigers in Aggie territory on a carry by John Emery. Emery fumbles the ball in the Tiger redzone, recovered by Utah State.
Defense is up to the challenge again, forcing a three-and-out.
LSU goes 63 yards on four plays and caps it off with a 39 yard touchdown from Joe Burrow to Justin Jefferson, the second of the day for the pair

Kary Vincent picks off Jordan Love, the second interception of the day for the secondary. With 1:20 to go in the third quarter, this game is getting out of hand
Fourth Quarter
Burrow pass to Thaddeus Moss has LSU inside the 10-yard line. Two plays later, Moss gets in the endzone on an 8-yard strike from Burrow
Scoring Update: LSU 42, Utah State 6
Kary Vincent slowly trots off the field after being injured with 10:32 to go in the game.
Grant Delpit brings in his first interception of the season, the third of the game.
Myles Brennan now in at quarterback.
Kicker Cade York getting to test his distance.... And misses a 53-yard field goal wide left. Jordan Love and Utah State take over.
